GEO blocking

Modified on Tue, 3 Dec, 2024 at 12:29 PM

When a broadcast is geo blocked it means that you need to be in a certain location to be able to watch it. If you can't watch a stream you are not in the country able to watch it.

This is done using IP addresses, which reveal the user’s location, allowing the broadcaster to block access based on that location.
